Biotium, Inc. is a rapidly growing biotechnology company in Hayward, California. We are seeking a part-time to full-time professional energetic individual to serve as a customer service/admin assistant.

Customer Service/ Admin Assistant


Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Answer, screen and direct all incoming calls
  • Take and process customer orders
  • Assist shipping department to package and ship customer orders on time
  • Assist Director of Marketing with various marketing projects
  • Data entry
  • Sorting and delivery of incoming mail, as well as responsible for postage and outgoing mail
  • File, copy and fax, maintain supplies, monitor and order standard and staff requested office supplies
  • Support all members of our clients team with outstanding commitment and diligence as directed by the Administration Manager
  • Hours are from 7:00am-4:00 pm M-F

Requirements

  • Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organizational skills and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented, team player, self-motivated, fast-learner, multi-tasking and prioritizing, fast-paced, efficient in time-management
  • Highly organized, able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Proficient PC skills (Word, Excel, outlook, databases, internet)
  • Minimum one year experience in admin/secretarial or related functions
  • Minimum high school, preferably college degree
  • Knowledge or experience in biotechnology industry a plus
